Orvis TLS Power Matrix Saltwater Fly Fishing Outfit

World-renowned expert fly-fishing and fly-casting instructor Mel Krieger has teamed with Ross to present the Essence series of fly rods. Named after Krieger’s most notable work, “The Essence of Fly-Casting” these rods deliver the performance you’d expect from these two fly-fishing greats. A first for the legendary reel maker, these rods are smooth, powerful, lightweight, sensitive and affordable.

The Outfit includes a new Essence Flystart Series Rod by Krieger, pre-spooled Flystart Reel with backing, WF-floating fly line and tapered leader, rod case, rod sock, reel case and Mel Krieger’s Beginnings casting DVD. Reel is set up for left-hand retrieve. The 7/8 wt. has a full wells grip and fighting butt.
